You may want to talk with Mike Benz. In analyzing Media Research Center documents received by foia, he discovered that NGO's financing "Soros prosecutors" were also financed BY USAID in even higher amounts. This automatically brings the CIA into the discussion. The whole leftist movement is likely propped up by the CIA and finessed with the funds. The left will do what it does but only if the money spigot flows and the CIA thru USAID is likely at the controls. https://x.com/MikeBenzCyber/status/1880520490185551979

I won’t say there’s no CIA influence but USAID is supposed to take their direction from Sec of State. CIA Director is not part of State Dept.

This article made me feel ill. It is SO frightening, and I believe every word of it. What I would love from you, Christopher, is a sort of march table for us who are wanting to help fight this battle. I am an old(er) woman, so I'm not much help; however, I can hold my own with administrative tasks. HOW CAN WE HELP??

Maybe don't panic is a good start...remember, this is a battle between people who call the police [or try to cancel people online] vs people who are the police [and combat vets]. I'm not envisioning another long hot summer this year. Unless the economy goes truly pear shaped, or that trendy new Chinese virus goes global. But I think people are a little more mentally resilient now than in 2020. One thing I recall from 2020, which only got marginal news coverage, was ad-hoc militias of combat vets [the only true rainbow coalitions] that popped up in riot-prone areas to defend low-income neighborhoods when police would not or could not. The new administration and alternative media landscape will encourage such citizen responses, rather than suppressing them as legacy media has done.

A remarkable piece of investigative journalism, something the news directors at MSM would not touch. A real coup would be connecting some/any of these groups to elected officials. Funny how the public has been conditioned over the past 4 years to fear "MAGA Extremists" as the greatest national threat, when all along the opposite side has been organizing and fundraising. Any measures taken to put down the coming counter revolution will be met by the Left with "see we told you so."

This is too well organized and the funding from USAID clearly proves what we have been thinking for years, and well detailed by Benz. This is a color revolution by our own government to stamp out resistance to the globalist motives. This article proves how far we have come to understand in short order.

Thanks for the details. Damn Marxists!

These groups are persistent. I remember seeing this resistance riot at President Trump’s 1st Inauguration, at Sen. Hawley’s and Tucker’s homes. Eight years later they still consider their mission worthy of force. Somehow the manage to obtain attorneys to protect their rights to pursue violent ends. Not looking forward to a destroyed ceremony once again. Soon the plywood will be up in DC again.

??? Just say you didn’t read a single sentence of the article.

As for your “not rioting” after the 2016 election: “…Many of these groups, which operate at arm’s length from the above-ground institutions, make no effort to hide their violent intentions. Their members have engaged in a string of riots for the entire time Donald Trump has been in politics, beginning with his 2017 inauguration, when, according to USA Today, “anarchists and activists tore through the streets for 16 blocks, tossing bricks at police officers, setting trash cans and a limousine on fire and smashing windows, all in opposition to the new commander in chief.”

Maybe our definition of “rioting” differs.

A point that can't be reiterated often enough. The FBI cares little for whether they pursue and infiltrate Black Panthers, Klansmen, mideastern immigrants after 9/11, Antifa affiliates, January 6 trespassers, or the next wave of dissidents, as long as they can boost budgets and close conspiracy cases [with a little nudging here and there]. It’s a great irony that a mis-named movement, “Antifa”, actually practices and results in more of the same. Requiring that countering and defeating it will also cause its expansion. Thanks for displaying a blueprint of the evil that is deeply rooted, organized, and most importantly adaptable. Likely it will get much worse before we can hope for better. Trusting there are varied plans in the works already and that, post: Covid, BLM, and Biden, the majority is much wiser to its means and ways.

I always notice how these groups will just launch right past the argument phase to make a claim. They'll just say someone is fascist without ever explaining how. This was explained well by an author on Tom Klingenstein's website; I forget the name of the author who wrote the piece but he was saying what the administrative state has done is to come to a point where they mimic the form of debate without its substance. For instance someone might say 'What's the strategy for the Ukraine war and likelihood that Russia will be defeated?' Answer: 'Why do you love Putin so much?' There's no debate there, just slander and strongarm tactics.

Expand full comment
Catherine Maxwell's avatar

Sounds like an interesting piece. I guess they hope you'll be too busy explaining how you're not a fascist to actually expose their lack of an argument. The more I learn about any of these groups, the less sense they make (not that they made much to being with).
