I was just thinking this morning that Trump should pull the Olympics out of LA. He could say, and it’s absolutely true, that LA has shown that they can’t maintain the civil order and there’s too much risk of visitors to the Olympics coming to harm. Is there a mechanism by which that is the president’s decision to make?
that would be the the decision of the Olympic committee along with Trump. Who the hell on that board ever voted for LA. Would you go? The left has destroyed that also.
Pulling LA out of Olympics will only help the LA mayor. Let her embarrass herself thoroughly. She is a case study in mismanagement and incompetence.
The Olympics are almost always a bad bet for a city and its residents financially. They're just a special interest handout. It's not much of a punishment to take them away.

“The people” Who are you talking about? NO ONE in Los Angeles wants the US military here. (No one wants the Olympics here, for that matter!) If your schtick wasn’t about conflict, you wouldn’t be talking about “the people” standing, period.
You mean no one YOU KNOW in Los Angeles wants the military here. And even the ones you know might be pretending in order to avoid social censure. My sense is that many Angelenos are sick of being mobbed by illegal immigrants and support ICE.
