Yes it is definitely fueled by resentment of the wealthy, but primarily it is quite directly the attempt to get their political way when they couldn’t do it by winning the election. They are attempting to intimidate Musk from helping carry out Trumps agenda AND intimidating others by letting them know that they could be next if they support the president.

That is textbook terrorism that undermines democracy in this country and they should accordingly receive very harsh sentences.

If it really was "fueled by resentment of the wealthy," then that resentment is misguided. The party of the wealthy is no longer the GOP, but rather has become the Democrats. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/2300124/democrats-are-the-party-of-the-wealthy-irs-data-shows/

Yes, exactly. You have to appreciate the irony of the party that resents the wealthy becoming the party of the wealthy.

The logical inconsistencies on the Left keep growing.

- Claiming to stand for Democracy while undermining Democracy

- Claiming to fight against fascism while supporting fascist government policies

- Claiming to stand for poor people while supporting policies that hurt poor people

- Claiming to stand against racism while supporting racist DEI policies

- Claiming to stand for women while supporting trans policies that hurt women

- Supporting defund the police while seeing that it is hurting the same poor minorities they claim to stand for

etc. etc. It doesn't feel sustainable for them, but they don't show any signs of giving up.
