Well, firstly, I don’t misunderstand the nature of these “treatments.” There was no way for you to know that, of course. I’ve been spending the last six years sounding the alarm about them. This is the worst medical scandal in history.
I was actually asking you why you think gay people, in particular, would support “transing” kids that will likely grow up gay. It seems like they’d remember how difficult it was and would want to protect them. Of course, if you already think all gay people are horrible deviants, then I can understand why you might think their intentions were good, or that they’d have empathy at all.
I happen to be acquainted with several gay people who are actually being shut down and shut out of the discussion, though. Jennifer Bilek being one of them, and Fred Sargeant being another, who was there at Stonewall the night the infamous first brick was thrown, and all throughout the riot. He went on to found the very first event, the Christopher Street Gay Liberation March: what later was appropriated by libertines to become the display of grotesque sexual excess that is “Gay Pride.” He’s been absolutely horrified by what’s happening, particularly with kids and women. It was never covered by mainstream news outlets, but he was actually attacked and injured at a Vermont Gay Pride parade by “queer” people (read: most likely straight) who didn’t like his sign, which read “Gay, not Queer” on one side and “woman face” crossed out on the other. These idiots not only attacked a 70+ year old man, and they had NO idea who he even was. The judge didn’t even want to hear from him.
I also follow Josh Slocum, here on Substack, who is a gay man and former leftist who has seen the light, so to speak. His Substack, Podcast, YouTube, and Rumble channels are called “Disaffected” and I think you’d find them enlightening. Gay people are far from united on the subject of “trans.”
The insidious and legitimately evil thing about this castration cult isn’t just that it’s a parasitic, fake movement. Bilek is correct about where the money comes from, but it’s much more complicated than that. I worry that “normal” gay people, who aren’t out parading naked in the streets or trying to teach kids bullshit while they dress like the world’s ugliest strippers, are going to suffer the brunt of our anger and rage once people finally wake up to this Mengele level medical torture.
Whatever you feel about gay people, or their life choices, they are not driving this madness. There has been quite the effort to make it *appear* like the T belongs with the LGB, but it didn’t. In fact, all the gay people I know are against it. Of course, this trans madness did fool some gay folks, and they’re still oblivious to its harm, like a lot of straight folks. and both groups, bless them, think they are helping distressed kids. But they haven’t thought hard about it, and all it’s implications.
It took so much work and so many years for gay people to finally be seen as legitimate members of society, both under the law and in the eyes of heterosexuals. Why would they support their own destruction? Why would gay people, who make up less than 10% of our population (in actuality it’s far less, I’m pretty sure) want to tell Christian parents “Hey, thanks for the rights! We’re gonna start your child, castrate him, put him in a dress and give him to a pervert to raise!” It would be literal suicide! Plus, whatever you think about gay sex, being gay does not make someone evil, or paedophilic. Paedophiles are nothing but sexual predators, in the most literal sense possible, and studies show that orientation has little to nothing to do with it. It’s just predators looking for easy victims. If they could rape adults, they would.
Thanks, Justine. You're absolutely right. I've seen the drags at Stonewall now being labeled as "trans", no doubt as part of the trans ideologues' propaganda efforts to falsify history.
The word "queer" is now and always has been a slur of the worst sort, right up there with the forbidden "N word". I'm sure it was adopted by the anti-truth postmodernist (un) Critical Gender Theorists for its shock value, and it is apparently now being used as an all purpose, all inclusive term for anyone who wants to claim some of the social cachet of oppression. In fact, the only survey data I have found that roughly half the people who self identified as "queer" had never had any experience or even a fantasy that was anything but entirely conventional heterosexual in nature.
From my standpoint, the radical trans ideology is the new homophobia. So-called "conversion therapy" (old style), now considered unethical if not illegal, sought to eliminate the socially unacceptable same-sex attraction and replace it with the accepted opposite sex attraction. So-called "gender affirming medical care" is the new style of conversion therapy. It aims, indeed promises to reconfigure a body afflicted with an unacceptable same-sex attraction to a different body for which that attraction is acceptable. As a gay man, I will never be interested in a natal female who has mutilated her body to be a pitifully poor imitation of a male, and I doubt any heterosexual female would be either. Any minor who presents as trans should be shown pictures of the outcome of surgery and warned, "this is the best we can do".
Would it surprise you to find out that the men who “transition” to a female “identity” in middle age are overwhelmingly straight and married, with young kids? It’s true. I was in a relationship with one. Fortunately
Trans-identifying people are mostly straight. Keep in mind that the gay population is very small. The “queer” population is much, much bigger. The gay people I know are offended, but not surprised, that “queer” is the word of choice. For most of them, that word was what they heard as they were being heated up and harassed. It’s a huge slur. Of course, the gender identity’s borg don’t care how gay bigots are offended (they’re bigots, see, because they only have same sex relationships. Queer warriors think everyone should have sex with everyone.
I’m going to go ahead and just let you know that I’m a 50 year old bisexual woman who has been married to a man for almost 30 years. I’m not going to ever agree that sexual relationships between adults is sinful or immoral. I grew up religious, and I have zero problem with Christians or anyone else for their beliefs. My extended family is evangelical and we get along fine. I really only want to point out that this isn’t coming from gay people. In order for us to stop this destructive cult, we’re going to need to join together to say no. Getting the truth out about exactly who is behind this, and what their agenda is, is more important to me than anyone’s political affiliation, religious beliefs, or anything else.
Stonewall, and just about every other organization that we’re once dedicated to gay rights, are at this moment run by a majority of straight “advocates.” Stonewall actually purged all dissenting voices from their ranks when they started defending transgender ideology, including longtime gay and lesbian employees who pointed out that trans was in direct opposition to gay rights. It is, of course. What I’ve been able to find out is basically Stonewall and the other orgs, once marriage equality was achieved, decided that “trans” was the Next Big Fight. Planned Parenthood did the same thing when Roe was overturned. This is absolutely a $$$ thing. No more money in abortions and securing equal rights? Throw out the gays and erase women! Gotta stay profitable!
If you like, I can cite my sources for you. If you’re looking for truth, like I am, you’ll find it very interesting and infuriating.
As far as rights go, it’s true that the Constitution does not guarantee gay rights. That’s not how the Constitution works, though. You don’t have to have a thing mentioned, specifically, in the Constitution in order to be free to act. That was by design. Imagine how complicated, limiting, and frustrating it would be if you couldn’t make a move without checking to see if the Constitution listed it as one of the approved actions! In the USA, we are allowed freedom to make our own decisions, associate with the people we choose to, and make our own way in the pursuit of happiness. So... the decision to allow gay marriage was 100% Constitutional.
Do check out Josh Slocum’s “Disaffected” Substack while you’re here. I highly, highly recommend it. The man sees the situation very clearly. He’s also recently spoken up in defense of Christians, especially after the Nashville shooting, where a deluded female member of the trans cult shot up a Christian school. Josh has gotten a LOT of hate and been called all sorts of horrible things for not being in lockstep with all things “left” and “queer.” In his own town in Vermont, he’s seen as a villain by the idiots running the schools and government.
If you appreciate a blunt, funny, and stubborn contrarian, you’ll enjoy Josh’s thoughts. Plus he’s been right 100% of the time, as far as I can tell. Dennis Kavanagh is also good. He’s another acquaintance of mine who has a Substack. He’s a barrister in a England and head of the Gay Men’s Association there. He has a very funny series of videos following the gender cult shenanigans in the UK, and all the shit the cult has tried to sneak by the public and into law.
The truth behind our current situation is SO much more nefarious than “the gays are at it again.” As I said before, I’m more than happy to share my citations.
You’re absolutely entitled to your opinions regarding the morality of gay sex, of course. You’re 100% wrong about the married men who transition, however. If you’d like to know more about exactly what is going on, the term to look up is “autogynephilia.” It’s a terribly interesting and terribly destructive paraphilia. I’d strongly suggest you look it up and consider it more. These men dress as the sex they’re attracted to, and fantasize about being women as a sexual fantasy. Gay men don’t wear women’s clothes unless they are actively performing drag. Why would they? They like men, not women.
I know you have your own ideas about gay culture, but I assure you that, if anything, gay men have become more masculine in the past couple of decades. There’s actually been a real issue with gay men rejecting their more “feminine” brothers on dating apps and such. Now that gay people have achieved equality with straight people, gay men have enjoyed a sort of celebrity among young incel types, who openly wish they were gay so they wouldnt Have to deal with women at all. I watched this happening on Reddit, one of the largest social media and information sharing websites there is. Reddit has had misogynistic undertones since the early aughts, at least. The react gay men had to this celebrity was to double down on “manliness” and reject those they call “camp,” and who most people would recognize as stereotypical “feminine” gay behavior.
I promise this isn’t gay folks, lol. It’s not. Some gay folks are on the bandwagon, sure. But they aren’t behind this. I understand though how that might be difficult to believe.
I actually have no intent to try to propagandize you. We’ve got enough bullshit coming at us from all sides already, from both political parties and marketers. What I would share, if you ever found yourself curious, would be pages like the LGB Alliance, which is a group founded in part by Fred Sargeant to reject and resist the totalitarian “gender” movement. You can always look them up yourself, of course. As you can tell, it’s very important to me to make sure others have all the information to make an informed choice to resist.
Regarding my personal life, that ex was not my husband. He came out as “trans” to his wife a few years before they divorced. He was a typical autogynephile, in that he used his fantasy world to escape when real life became difficult or oppressive. He was a severely abused child, and had several comorbid mental health issues, including schizoaffective disorder, some level of autism, borderline personality disorder, and narcissistic tendencies (the people who get mixed up with the gender cult tend to have mental health issues, as the information exposed about the Tavistock clinic in England shows. It’s the same everywhere). My relationship with him started out with him already presenting in public as a trans “woman.”
I know you didn’t ask me for details, so I thank you for reading this, if you do. I won’t go into anything specifics about anything sexual (I don’t share those things anyway; it’s not my style). It was a long distance relationship, as he lives in Australia. We met online like many people do these days. He was and still is one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever met, but intelligence unfortunately does not imply good reasoning skills.
That’s one of the things about this cult. It makes zero sense, but if you’re intelligent and motivated to believe it, you can fall for it. Most people that do fall for it are quite intelligent.
So my ex: I told him, within a few months, that I didn’t think he was a woman (I had been agnostic about gender identity theory until that point). I explained my reasoning and told him I couldn’t support him “transitioning” with drugs and surgeries. He actually fought with me on this, but I didn’t back down. Eventually he agreed with me that it was all just sexism his dad had put in his head growing up, and he thanked me for, forgive the expression, straightening him out.
Things went fine for a while. We discovered the concept of Autogynephilia, which described exactness what he was experiencing, including the fact that stress can bring out the fetish, like it does for any addiction (and yes, I’m implying it’s an addiction, mostly the result of porn addiction). That was quite the discovery! I started reading about it, because I’m a psych nerd. He realized that while his marriage was already stressed, the birth of his daughter and only child was the thing that served as the catalyst for his fetish to re-emerge and take over his life.
Ray Blanchard is the psych who originated the term “autogynephilia” and wrote extensively about it. He observed that these men were never “feminine” children or adults, unlike gay men. If you ever get curious and Google it, keep in mind that trans advocates HATE Blanchard, lol. They will swear up and down that his work has been debunked, but not only has it not been debunked, but he’s been proven correct over, and over, and over again. Yes, these men are degenerates, but they’re not the degenerates you think they are. They’re self-absorbed, coocooland libertines, not regular gay people.
So my ex, bless him, really tried to change, and he did, mostly. For a while. I would visit him in Aus and we had a great friendship and loving relationship. He wore skirts, but didn’t call himself a woman. Then, a few months before I had planned to move there full time for a while, something major happened in his life that sent him backward into dissociation and fantasy. Eventually he just became too unstable to sustain our relationship. I wasn’t about to get trapped in another country with a partner losing his marbles. Last I heard, he was on estrogen, which is sad. He’s going to regret that so much. But, I can’t be mother to a full grown man, sorry, especially when he’s actively destroying his own body and mind. I don’t hold it against him. He was the victim of the emerging “queer” movement who told him I was a horrible bigot and “jealous” that I wasn’t the only “woman.” Obviously I’m not, but that’s the type of lie that cults use to break victims away from their loved ones, and make them beholden to the cult, alone. Gotta break those ties.
That’s what’s happening with all the kids that are now labeling themselves using all kinds of bizarre things like “demiromantic” and “homoromantic.” Where the labels came from is a WHOLE other story and interesting in itself, but my point is that the propaganda targeting vulnerable people, kids and adults alike, is frighteningly effective. It wouldn’t work on me or you, but it works on them. That includes the current state of online pornography distributors, like PornHub. They’ve been pushing both transgender porn and in particular “sissy hypno” which encourages males to imagine themselves as “bimbos being f****d.” I’ve seen some of it, and… well, if I had a young son, and I found out he was looking at it, I mean I’m already furious, but I’d be *incandescent* with rage. I’m actually very happy I never had kids, because I might kill someone if they fell into this cult.
You’re correct, by the way, that it’s a grooming cult. The groomers, as I said, are not regular, decent gay folks (Fred worked for decades as a law enforcement officer, which I thought was pretty neat after his Stonewall experience. The bar was owned by the Mafia, btw, which was a big part of why police were targeting it, not so much the gay people that frequented it. The gay folks were just easy to harass. But I digress). The groomers are paedophilic libertines and sadists, and they are currently working to push “trans” in order to destroy the age of consent for minors.
It’s all pretty gross. I can give you some key words to look for: Boychat, WPATH, John Money. Be prepared to be appalled. I have a very high tolerance for most things, sexual, medical, and otherwise. This stuff is nightmarish. An actual cadre of academic paedophiles looking to create victims that will stay children forever. Yep.
The gay community has learned about this, and they are livid. They had to fight off the pedos during the civil rights movement, as they were trying to latch onto the cause. Apparently they’re trying to do it again. Now, you might think they’re sinful, and again that’s your prerogative. They aren’t kiddie fiddlers, though. Being gay is a different thing than sexually abusing children. I don’t know a single gay person that thinks this is okay.
My ex wasn’t gay. He was mentally I’ll with a history of extreme abuse. He was also autistic: a cohort that tends to be much more sexually flexible than the rest of the population. Fetishes and paraphilias are very common for autistics, and the attraction of the cult is obvious in the fact that so many people that seek to transition are autistic. It’s a huge scandal for the Tavistock, but it SHOULD be a scandal everywhere, because any place that offers transition services is 1. Not getting for mental illness. I know they’re not, for a fact, and 2. performing an actual genocide on autistic people. That’s Nazi-level shit.
I’ve been left leaning my whole life, but not far left. Like I do not approve of antifa antics and I hate DEI for destroying proper meritocracy. I’m an old school liberal, leaning left libertarian (anarchy is unsustainable and stupid; I’m not a Marxist). I had a very difficult time coming to terms with the fact that “my party” was supporting “freedoms” for people who want to lie about who and what they are. I hoped it was an honest mistake, and that Dem politicians just believed the lies of paid off “scientists” (they were paid. Boy were they paid). Then I started looking into it. I discovered that not only did they know, but they were paid off in the 90s to let this happen.
No, my ex did not see any of it as wrong, least of all homosexuality, but he wasn’t one. He wasn’t raised to see it that way. A lot of the abuse he suffered was due to his behavioral issues, which were exacerbated by his autism and mood disorder. Maybe you’ve heard the term “oppositional defiant disorder” recently? What it describes is a childhood symptom of resisting adult authority to a point it’s a severe disability. It’s a new term, but what it describes is what he experienced, and he was brutally punished for it. He was still like that to some extent, even as an adult when I knew him. Maybe it should have bothered me, but it didn’t that much, at least until the end when he lost his ability to manage his emotions. Recently I read an article written by a therapist who doesn’t buy gender nonsense, and she made the observation that a lot, if not most, of the people of any age that she sees who claim they need to transition are oppositional or narcissistic (which amounts to the same thing in this instance). They won’t hear anything that they don’t want to hear.
If you’re wondering why I dated him, he was also highly, highly creative and expressive, and his intelligence was nearly intimidating. We had fun together and never ran out of things to discuss. Plus, Australia! But mostly he was just fun and smart. Again, it’s no accident that highly intelligent people are falling for gender cult lies. Intelligence only helps to provide more and more justifications for stuff they want to do.
You are correct about trauma, in that one major thing that unifies the *children* that seek out gender transition: they’re traumatized. However it happened, they see transition as a way to start over, with a new name, new sex, and no more bad reminders of their previous pain. They’re given a timeline and a project of erasing their previous self. Of course, it doesn’t work, but the detransitioners, people who tried to transition, found out it doesn’t help, and went back to presenting as their real sex, get shut down worse than anyone by the cult. They’re apostates, of course. There’s over 40,000 of the in the r/Detrans subreddit, and their stories are tragic.
*Shrug* I can only relate my own experiences and observations, which I try to keep as objective as possible. You make an excellent point: psych docs and therapists in particular have a long history of terrible ideas, lol. I guess we’ll see. The gender thing works like all cons, right? It tells people that what they already want to believe is actually true. I guess an awful lot of contemporary psychs really wanted to believe that sexist stereotypes are accurate and it’s okay to enforce them on kids, up to and including sterilizing them and medicalizing them for life. I had already made *that* realization.
I appreciate you taking time to respond, truly. I’d love to hear what you think of Disaffected, once you catch an episode or two. That is if you feel like sharing, of course.
I’m not aware of the Nellie Bowles situation. I’ll look that up.
I’m curious, what do you think homosexual attraction actually is? Do you feel that some people are more likely to have those attractions than others? I ask because I like to have a variety of opinions on contentious subjects, including the opposition (you’re not necessarily my opposition, to be clear. In fact on the things that currently matter we’re in complete agreement). It helps me be more fair and helps me find compromise, if there is any to be had.
When I was growing up and still going to church (Presby, as my mom felt the Pentecostal Holiness church she grew up in was too oppressive), homosexuality was explained as a vice, like drinking, drugs, etc. Some people, it was explained, were more likely to have that particular vice, just like some people are prone to alcoholism. That tracks, in my mind, whether you believe it’s a sin or not, simply because every source of info we have points to it being an aberration that happens to only a small minority (ethics aside, it’s objectively an aberration).
Actually, yeah don’t Google Boychat, lol. Wise choice. You can imagine what it entails. Pretty much the utter worst and most sadistic fantasies you can imagine, centered around the sexual and physical abuse of underaged boys. I don’t usually wish anyone dead, but I make an exception for those people.
Btw, Josh Slocum, and myself as well actually, agree with you that being gay is not 100% predetermined. In fact, there is no “gay gene,” in spite of all the money that went into finding it. There *is* a genetic component, but it can only be accurately claimed to be around 40% of the cause. The rest is determined by conditions in the womb, and their environment. I thought that was really intriguing. It explains all the lesbians, in particular, that I’ve known in my life that were abused as kids and teens.
I wish I could remember if they’d mentioned how much influence birth order made. Relative exposure to testosterone and the mother’s immune system is why youngest boys tend to be the most likely to adopt an exclusively gay sexuality later, as young adults. Then, of course, there are the abusive mothers who use their sons in place of husbands. Speaking of which, an awful lot of young men who are now calling themselves “women” were incels only a few years ago. That’s another event I watched happen in real time, on Reddit and 4Chan. Both incels and younger “trans women” tend to come from abusive homes with single mothers, and no father or an uninvolved stepfather. Makes ya think.
I understand completely if you are hesitant to believe or trust anything I say, really I do. You don’t need to. I do suggest, however, that your distaste for gay stuff is making you shut out information that would make things much more clear. Charlatans are everywhere, using every label possible to get people to let their guard down. Getting information from multiple sources, even the ones you don’t agree with, is the only way to have enough information to make an informed decision. That’s why I started engaging the people that everyone around me was telling me not to trust. Of course in my case I already knew how to talk to them, as I was raised by them, and didn’t so much think of them as “enemies” as just having a very different lifestyle and beliefs. I never thought they were “bad.”
Apologies for my slow response; I got pulled away for a bit.
I just wanted to thank you again for the discussion. I value your perspective, and I will keep it in mind in the future. Everyone needs to be involved in shaping this new reality we’re entering. We all deserve a voice.
I feel I need to apologize for the behavior of the new progressives. Knowing that you are conservative and vocal online, I can safely assume that you’ve been attacked by them unfairly. I view them as extremists and their behavior as personality disordered and counterproductive. I’m not alone on the left in rejecting their ideology, but liberals that criticize are attacked, shutdown, and censored, just like conservatives. This probably gives the impression that everyone on the left is batshit bananas, but that’s not the case.
Same goes for the loudmouth man haters calling themselves feminists.
Those is us with brains that still work are actively working again woke ideology. We don’t think you are the enemy, either.

Yes. I agree completely. This the worst conversion therapy our country(s) have ever seen. I’m so glad that you can see it, too.

Well, f*** that. This has to be stopped.
I keep thinking of stuff to add!
