I remember when I first started work where I am now, two of the women were discussing the son of someone who used to work there a few years before.
Turns out the son wanted to transition, he was 10-11 yrs old and was having puberty blockers.
They asked me what I’d do if my son(a couple of yrs older)came saying the same, I told them both him and his sister would be told they’re too young and will have to wait until adulthood to make sure they hadn’t changed their minds.
What truly baffles me nowadays, is how people shirk responsibility of being parents.
My kids have always known I’m the boss, my husband worked away a lot when they were young so I stayed home only getting a part time job as they were teenagers.
I’ve done my best to give them a structured, safe loving environment for them to grow, develop and bloom into young stable adults.
