DEI people never become DIE people. They just keep moseying along.

I was cited in September of my freshman year of college( 1964) for not citing things properly. Learned my lesson early.

No one ever challenges these affirmative action babies. That's the problem

DEI has a long pre-history in our long ago corrupted monasteries of groupthink. To take just one example....how did someone as emotionally and intellectually screwed up as Judith Butler ever get to be deemed a 'high-powered academic'; a 'scholar'; a 'philosopher' for Christ's sake?

Had she presented herself at any academic institution worthy of the name all those years ago she would have been told politely that the academic life was not for her - and then suggesting a good psychotherapist where she might get some help with her personal hang ups. In other words, long before the DEI bureaucratic monster, Western universities were already filling up with people whose only recommendation was that they were as full of shit as the people interviewing and appointing them.

Butler cashed in on an academic fashion trend--Postmodernism and the invasion of the French deconstructionists. The humanities have been gutted, hollowed out by neo-Marxist critique, a cynical method of analysis that consists of shitting on everything, that "subverts" and "problematizes" everything it comes across. Confusing the map for the territory, critical theorists believe that since language is an arbitrary set of symbols, that nothing expressed in language is real or has meaning and all their analysis strives to demonstrate this.

Yes but my main point here is that over and above all of that....she's clearly not very bright....not very good at noticing reality and distinguishing it from her own wishful-thinking screw-up notions. Academia should at least be a place for the brightest; not the thickest.

White meritocracy along with 240 years of Black chattel slavery and 100 years of Jim Crow? Whites needed slaves and subjugation to do their work. What a bunch of bullshit.

By the way, Jefferson, in case you don’t realize it: only Democrats were slaveholders in America, no Republicans. Secondly, only Democrat politicians wrote Jim Crow laws, no Republicans. Thirdly, MLK was a Republican until the 60s when Biden and his Democrat cronies one of them a KKK member Got him to change parties so they would pass the 1964 civil rights act. Did you know that Jefferson? let’s see what Jefferson knows behind all his ranting against white folk and black conservatives.

Let’s talk about black on black slavery in Africa, shall we? Or in the USA? Read “Black Slaveowners” by Larry Roger; “Slavery and Slavery in African History” by Stilwell. Educate yourself Jefferson.
