The LA metro really ought to ask their buddies up in the Bay Area how enforcing fare payment works for reducing crime - https://wheninyourstate.com/usa/maintenance-costs-fall-96-after-san-francisco-adds-tamper-proof-subway-turnstiles/

If the LA metro wants more riders, it needs the environment to be safe. It won't we safe if criminals ride the metro. This is not rocket surgery

Criminals belong in prison, not for their rehabilitation, nor for their future. Simply to keep them away from the rest of us.

This has been coming for a long time. The blue cities just can’t help it, they have to pander to the people who used to be either in jail or in mental hospitals.

In NYC back in the ‘60s I would ride a bus from my home in Bayside to Flushing then take 2 subways to my aunt’s apartment in Greenwich Village frequently. I was 10 years old!

When my eldest son was 20, I had to warn him to keep his eyes open as he rode into Manhattan. He didn’t and he was robbed in the early ‘90s!

These days, eyes open or shut, it’s very dangerous. My hat’s off to San Francisco for protecting their riders, I hope others follow.

What a shit hole Commiefornia has become!!! But truthfully I don't feel sorry for the citizens of Commiefornia or L. A... You get what you voted for election after election... Sadly I see the rest of these United States becoming Commiefornia in the next 15-20yrs from now!!!
