She masks, as do all of her sycophant leftist cowards, to hide her true identity. It hides behind the mask, as her/their ideas hide behind the truth. All of panels of Mamdani and other Marxist mayoral candidate supporters wear the same mask for the exact same reason; they want props for projecting these historically failed ideas, but hide their true identity from the backlash that truth will certainly prove. Lorenz is a parasite, as are they all. They prey on the blood of attention, prominence and relative power. On the fringe of societal norms, they live and breathe on the attention social media provides. The bulk of America, still believes in the cultural foundations, upon which our country was formed. It is these people, in much superior numbers, who must step up and crush this carcinogenic growth, aimed at destroying America - the Marxist goal of which is to tear it all down, so they and theirs can rule the aftermath. This is the way of socialism, Marxism and Communism - history has proved it better than I can summarize it, here. A grounded support of centrist, America first policies will rule, despite the masked chanting. Relegate Lorenz and her Instagram ilk, to the annals of failure, where they all belong.

Very well put. I was tempted to write something similar; but filled with many vulgar epithets.

Ms. Lorenz is a societal leech of the highest order. She talks about people not wanting to be NPCs. Yet, she seems to be suffering from "Main Character Syndrome", in which she is somehow important and can change the shape of our nation.

She is a midwit at best.

===> Yet, she seems to be suffering from "Main Character Syndrome"

This is the perfect description of adults like Taylor who have never matured beyond the phase where they think the world revolves of them. Nothing new here.

We need to stop giving her any attention and let her fade into the background where she belongs.

Yessir, kind of like cockroaches manage to survive virtually every attack. One day America will find a "cure" for this roach infestation. Maybe RFK Jr can work on that for America's future!

She’s not trying to hide her identity. She’s created a box that she can’t crawl out of. If she stops masking she looks foolish to her tribe, but if she continues flying the leftist face flag she appears mentally unstable to the rest of the country.

I don't know where you get the idea that the left is in broad support of masking. In general, leftists think that masking is weird. Only an extremely small subset of people on either side actually mask, and the ones who do almost always do it for health reasons that are unrelated to their politics. The most conservative and pro-Trump person I know is also one of the only people I know who masks.

The main reason you've come to associate leftists with masking is because people on the left wear medical masks while protesting, whereas people on the right wear balaclavas and neck gaiters while protesting. The left uses their masking for two purposes: to hide their faces and to reduce transmission of diseases in large crowds for those who are more susceptible to them. The right uses their masking only to hide their faces.

EDIT: And I suppose also because during the beginning of Covid, the left was better able to understand the mechanisms of airborne disease transmission than the right. But since Covid has fallen out of the public view, the reason the left is associated with masking is the reason I said above.

Seven minutes I can never get back.

Taylor Lorenz exemplifies an NPC, driven by narcissism to seek attention, mistakenly believing people care about her opinions. They don't.

She is irrelevant. Make her go away. Far away.

Sooo, sooo far away. While I can see a reason why Rufo might interview her, she's so awful that I think giving her any attention is bad for society. Seriously, she is one of the original doxers. She's done real damage to people and Rufo didn't call her out on any of that. She deserves to be shunned, not given a spot-light. (The more I thought about it, the more I don't like this interview.)

AGREED ---Taylor Lorenz is mean at heart and also just plain evil. She does not deserve attention...and only got a small amount during the height of the woke insanity because she was so foolish. She is way past her expiration date and what we do with expired products should happen to her...go away.

I appreciate Rufo's style, so it doesn't bother me. I think he asked good questions. I would've preferred a deeper sit-down with their views on culture. I didn't like her answer on how Luigi went from "high agency" to the murder. That's a fair question from a cultural standpoint because we are seeing a cultural move towards some of this tendency to murder. It's not on the edges, as Luigi proves, but it is something that's committed by an extreme minority of people. It's almost lone wolf stuff. I don't see it evolving, but I'm not sure exactly what's priming and what's holding it back. It's more like entertainment and seeing who actually does something even if people actually believe they're engaged in the same manner. It reminds me of crossing the line from idealism towards actually doing it. It's definitely a whole different ballgame, and I think the internet, along with naiive leftist psychology, sort of masks that.

When I saw that Chris interviewed Taylor Lorenz, I almost inhaled my coffee. Why on earth would he talk to HER? But then I read the interview and that was cathartic. Someone entered the den of the harem of Satan to ask questions and there wasn’t anything there anymore. She sounds lost, completely unmoored.

I remain unimpressed by Taylor’s all-weekly philosophy. She’s certainly well-versed in the pop-psychology of the day and can return a serve but I fail to see how she differs from any garden-variety Brooklynite aging hipster intellectually. You should’ve ended on the next line of that Dylan song: “But the joke was on me, there was nobody even there to bluff…”

I found this interview insightful, if mostly for the view into the warped and twisted mind of an empty-headed so-called ’social-media journalist’. Like rats fleeing a sinking ship she turns on her brethren in a purity spiral, calling them fake. Her arguments mirror the line, ’true communism hs never been tried.’

I did NOT have Rufo interviewing Taylor Lorenz on the bingo card... Find it absolutely hysterical seeing her comment on all the OTHER grifters from the left, while she pushes out mind-numbing content with a plea for paid subscriptions. And now she's backing away from the true fringes of crazyland since it doesn't seem financially viable in the current environment. What a charlatan.

Taylor would (happily) ride the back of Woke again were it not a collapsed horse. Leftists who disavow this now simply show us they were willing to use it to hunt and ruin their enemies only to feign enlightenment and remorse now as it is being pummeled. Trust no Leftist. Don’t believe their Road to Damascus conversion to Marx-Christ as a class battle in their demand we memory hole everything they said and did for the last decade. Taylor doesn’t get to shape shift now. She owns Woke. Tie it around her neck forever.

She actually sounds intelligent. Good interview. Re: Healthcare in America: I have been without health insurance for nearly 2 years. My husband is on Medicare so, obviously, I'm not on his plan anymore. I've been retired for nearly 3 years and will turn 65 in October which means I'll finally have health insurance. Not once have I considered murdering a healthcare CEO to make a point,so let's not fall for THAT.

I firmly believe health insurance companies should be allowed to compete with each other which would lower premiums AND they should be allowed to cover the patrons for national coverage since we're a mobile society. Husband just got back from the Cleveland Clinic which is considered out of network for him even though it's only 3.5 hours away. We had to pay upfront and the insurance company is now mulling over how much they'll reimburse after being begged by the local doctor for the permission to even go.

Trump, Kennedy, and Oz need to get going on this. No universal healthcare. That'll break the country and lead to poor medical care, like in Britain. We need competition.
