I worked in a city bureaucracy for 30 years. I "took it" more times than I can recall. I was fearful of adverse action by Management. Then, late-career, I found courage and my limit. I hired an attorney and become aggressive and barely-compromising. I read statutes, documented events, wrote letters, appeared before the Board, and found others.
In truth, I became desperate, and refused to cooperate with The Program. I am grateful that I "turned" before leaving - I respect and trust myself much more for it.
The phenomenon of thought dictatorship came into force quickly during early 2020. Human fear was exploited to the hilt. Entire societies were gaslighted & manipulated, a mass psychosis ensued. This extended way beyond the health field. It encompasses Social Justice, CRT, Gender Dysphoria and yes, even Climate Fear.
But the Great Reset has failed.
Citizens everywhere have lost faith in establishment outlets, including not just the MSM. Trust in august institutions of higher learning, think tanks and government institutions is at a low point.
You are right - our "awakening" is to the illegitimacy of our ruling classes and by extension the institutions they control. Most of us slept through the beginning of the coup.
Let’s hope enough people are awake before we approach 2024. If those behind the authoritarian movement stay in power, it will take decades to recover. It’s going to be a Herculean task even now to root out the those who wish the country harm. Hopefully we coalesce behind a leader who is as strategic as the opposition, can unite the middle and will win.
Based on the unbelievable, unethical lengths the left have to get Trump nominated should be a warning sign to all of us. It is no different in theory than their successful strategy to donate to Trumps primary picks in 2022. Other than JD Vance Trumps picks in battleground states lost. Chances of Trump himself winning in those states are low.
What a world we live in that this doc has to be anonymous to say chemical castration is harmful while the judge in Arkansas doesn’t, and smugly decrees that puberty blockers have no long term effects at all, yikes…
I am taken-aback by how these legislative efforts have run into theses judges. Obviously not the end, but - are there many such judges, or has this been a conspicuous case of ill-fortune?
Judges are the new high priests' of the latest cult of death. Cults arise from time to time them they go away. This latest transition cult will run its course and people snd history will wonder "what the hell were these people thinking?"
The puberty blockers, by tricking the hypothalamus, would appear to be taking away the patient’s ability to develop and experience life as a human being. It is a damaging effect of the treatment no less consequent than the retardation of the patient’s sexual development during adolescence.
We used to lamentably accept these as side-effects of life-saving treatments - to keep the victim of disease with her or his family longer. They were always the extreme case - disfiguring and debilitating. Think radical mastectomy. We shuddered when we heard of them.
Transgender is the new official state religion. It's not possible to argue against religion purely with logic. Plus "gender affirming care" is a huge cash cow for doctors and hospitals.
I hope one day we look at sex-change procedures the same way we look at lobotomies, bloodletting, smoking as a cure for asthma, and Tuskegee experiments.

I am in a MUCH less serious profession being a professor in the social sciences, and see a good seal of speech suppression in my field. On my best days, I just think: "no one is being physically harmed, move on." Unfortunately, that is not the case in your profession. I have never been able to articulate my thoughts on this topic I worry that people might think I am some sort of bigot/demon. Doctor, thank you, for the clarity and making the choice to help others as your choice of "profession."

This is dangerous for society and why it is true that this must be eradicated. This is how we got the Nashville shooter and all the other violent people whose brains have been poisoned. We have a right as a society to say no and to resist this monstrous impact on us. So in addition to the frontal lobe not being fully developed under 25, eroded brain function can lead to altered mental status, deranged thinking, and delusional miscalculation posing threats to the public.

I once attended an academic conference for non-medical professionals where we were specifically and repeatedly told that pubery blockers had no side effects.
We are living through an insane, brutal regime ruled by thugs of the worst order and perpetrated by human-like sheep. I will print this article, which puts the "gender-affirming care" atrocity so succinctly and add it to my developing archive of printed documents chronicling the last three years of socio-political authoritarian horrors.
