Now it is a single party state whose ruling socialists steal billions of taxpayer funds to serve illegals. Voter fraud has been legalized so conservatives can never win again. That district court ruling against Prop 187 was based on pretty flimsy constitutional arguments. And more recent SCOTUS rulings have made the ruling even more flimsy.
I am not predicting that it will happen, but it is possible that SCOTUS will rule in favor of the legality and constitutionality of Prop 187 or state laws similar to it in the future.
This seems like a highly effective means to enforce illegal immigration.

As a native-born Californian, this a Democrat party scheme to convert tax dollars from U.S. citizens into votes from illegal aliens. Dual - national Eliseo Medina said during a Spanish-language address to a SEIU convention in Puerto Rico around the time that Obama was elected that the path to a permanent Democrat party majority was via illegal immigration. Medina became Obama's senior advisor on immigration policy. He held a similar role during the Biden administration. This scheme, costing taxpayers up to $100K per illegal alien family per year needs to stop! BTW, the California "bucket" system still depends on federal dollars. It should be challenged.
I think that you should expand this investigation into all Blue and Purple states. I don’t think many people are aware of how many government programs give social benefits to legal and illegal immigrants. Same for voter registration.
Also keep in mind that there is what is legal and what is actually done. In many cases, sympathetic social welfare workers will help immigrants circumvent the law even when a state excludes immigrants from eligibility.
Stop all federal programs to all states. Let the states front 80%of programs and then after that is spent a 20% federal infusion. Otherwise follow the Constitution as originally written without bogus amendments like income tax or voting for senators. Let CW2 insue and see who wins.
They’ll just go on about how California is receiving political retribution, and being denied it’s just and righteous payments, then claiming because of this denial, they need the ultra wealthy to “pay their fair share” to make up for it, hence prop 40. There really is not repentance or mea culpas from these people.

It’s a case study for how powerful people can and will take power from the people, and dole it out as they see fit to protect their best interest without real democracy. Nothing new. One would hope state governors would be altruistic and respectful of their role in United States history. Far from it. If they are willing to sell out their own citizens to give illegal immigrants preferential treatment in exchange for what.. loyalty? What does that say about them? If voting can't be restricted to citizens because IDs are too hard to obtain, asking welfare recipients for a passport or birth certificate seems like a bridge way too far. So the program administrators probably just ask and take whatever answer they get as true. After all, it isn't their money and complaints might spin up to charges of discrimination and other possible career killers.
