Commissar Kish has pronouns on his LinkedIn. His bio is pure word salad: "Civil rights attorney dedicated to public service and advancing justice for disadvantaged communities. Leads the nation's largest state civil rights agency. Thinking and speaking about civil rights and social justice, including workers’ rights, fair housing, access to justice, anti-discrimination law, community-based movements, legal assistance programs, equal pay, human trafficking, legal remedies." President Newsom would probably appoint him Attorney General, as the end game of the Civil Rights regime is the normalization of communist shakedowns.

Ironically, this gay man is the reason why VCs are forced to ask all California-based founders if they are gay to fulfill DEI/ESG reporting.

We truly can't hate these miscreants enough.

Think of all the actually positive things that could have been accomplished, had these millions upon millions not been "misappropriated" by Kalifornistan's Kommisars of Korruption.

It’s amazing that anyone is willing to start and run a company today. I hope Musk stands his ground.

If someone sets up a LLC in California, they are required to pay an $800 fee to the State - even if the business loses money. Then they wonder why businesses are leaving California.

What a joke.

The smartest folks have already left.

Al sharpton did the same thing 20 or 30 years ago. He basically threatened large companies with boycotts. If they didn't give money to his national action Network. Then he basically just lived high off. The hog, traveled around like he was a civil rights. Rights activist but instead he just used the money on nice hotels and good food while the people giving him the money were usually dirt poor.

I hadn't heard this part of the legal case California was pushing against Activision Blizzard. Which prompted Microsoft to step in with the purchase. No wonder Tesla moved its corporate offices and no new games have come out from Activision Blizzard and Bethesda in a while

I've watched Gavin in SF and CA politics for 30 years. He's gone from being pro-business and LW social causes to being a willing player in the Dem machine now operating by DSA rules. All about expedience and opportunism. Local SF Dem activists have told me Newsom, Pelosi, Schiff and others fund Antifa and related groups, cheer their terrorist activities, and are all in. Given the level of CA state funding in NGO slush/political funds, enabled cartel and MX government activity in CA, and all of the same reported with CCP, I would not be surprised to find Gavin is in the middle of all of it. Gavin cleaned up SF very quickly when Xi came to SF a couple years ago. The State Dept's report on Cuba's Communist role in global and US activism is a sensible look into where the Dems have gone under Obama.

California joins other blue areas in the United States and Britain and Canada and Germany (etc.) as places which are essentially controlled by the professional managerial class. This cohort is status-conscious, ideological, and completely undemocratic. The will of the people are irrelevant: they serve their own class interest, which is dressed up in universalist language (human rights, inclusivity, equity, etc.). This disconnect - this bait-and-switch - allows them to maintain a sense of moral superiority WHILE they damage society, drain the treasury, and protect their own social prerogatives. Never have we had such a venal and dysfunctional ruling class.

Newsom is a totally opportunistic greaseball. And Dems are totally ruining California.

When will voters learn?

Thanks for the post. On the other hand, Attorney General Rob Bonta refused to take action against the Tea smartphone app, which allows and encourages the wholesale doxing and defamation of men on that platform.

Here's the clear contrast between Newscum and our Current Commander-in-Chief: https://jonmhigley.substack.com/p/it-took-a-savvy-business-man-as-president Let's hope & pray that Newscum doesn't even get nominated to run for President by the DNC; provided they can get their act together.

DUMP NEWSCUM, SAVE CALIFORNIA.
