Given the level of CA state funding in NGO slush/political funds, enabled cartel and MX government activity in CA, and all of the same reported with CCP, I would not be surprised to find Gavin is in the middle of all of it. California joins other blue areas in the United States and Britain and Canada and Germany (etc.) as places which are essentially controlled by the professional managerial class. This cohort is status-conscious, ideological, and completely undemocratic. The will of the people are irrelevant: they serve their own class interest, which is dressed up in universalist language (human rights, inclusivity, equity, etc.).
