The Gavin special for illegals: free solar panels, trans surgeries, and education. How much does he get back in kickbacks and votes?

Gary Edwards's avatar

Do ya think the recipients may have just sold the equipment??

More magnets to attract illegal crossings.

Illegal immigrants are very important to the Democrats nation wide as it inflates population numbers and preserves or increases Congressional representation. It also leads to illegal voters voting Democrat. A near perfect world except for tax payers who watch the Democrats exercising their FRAUD machines. We are screwed. The California voters don’t care.

Another day, another story of the outright theft of taxpayer dollars to buy votes.

Crazy they keep giving benefits to people who aren’t citizens, they came here illegally across the border. Granted, half the solar stuff is a grift, regardless who it’s targeting. When is this going to stop? ( both the solar scams and benefits to illegals!)

I have no issue with LEGAL immigration and those who work hard to get legal immigrant status. I have a lot of respect for those people, I know some of those people. They worked hard and followed the boundaries and respect our country. It’s just so wrong that states who declares themselves “sanctuary” build up a whole operation around flagrantly rebuffing the boundaries of the federal government, using our own tax dollars. It’s so disrespectful to this country, to the actual citizens, and immigrants who did it legally.

The diving line between those who fight for illegal immigration over actual citizens is pretty clear.. but of course, the counter message is “Trump Is a threat to democracy!”

Every illegal alien who is deported should be forced to take a solar panel with him or her, preferably a panel that is no longer working.

... AND one used wind turbine blade ... all 80 feet of it.

Ben F.'s avatar

The 100 watt panels, at least.. because we’ve moved on to 400 watts and up.

And we mustn’t forget the existential threat of “white supremacy!”, that combined with climate change is quite the permission slip to do anything and everything.

I don't ever want to hear a Dem voter from Cali complaining about their taxes or the enormous budget deficit. Ever. These are the people they have been electing for decades as the state declines. As Obama said, elections have consequences. And when you vote for irresponsible people for state office, this is what you get.

Ben F.'s avatar

They’ll just say a Republican or MAGA endorsed person is worse.

Roger Holberg's avatar

"It was Trump's fault."

Roger Beal's avatar

I said this about Timmy Walz's Somali Scam-a-thon, and I'll repeat it here for Gavin's Cesar Chavez-ish funds giveaway: Eliminate all this fraud from federal / state / local governments, and America will no longer have a deficit.

I’ve come to the point where I’m seeing it’s not about managing tax dollars for some of these folks, so If you say “hey your policies are a mess, let’s fix it” - they don’t care about that. I don’t know about Newsom, but at least for those who are DSA-aligned, if they have to shock the system or help it fall apart, it’s a part of the plan. They use the disorder and mess and claim capitalism and government is the problem, so then.. if you vote for DSA policies and promises, you’ll finally get a better world according to them. Cloward-Piven strategy in action. It’s awful. They are usurping the Democrat party to make it happen.

Keep banging this drum Chris.

Typical Leftist corruption. The goal of these projects is never to solve the problem but to funnel money to their fellow Leftists. The Democrats in CA are blatant about it because they know they can't be voted out of office.

I wonder if you need ID to get some solar equipment? I read elsewhere the suggestion that since you don’t need an ID to vote, we should all go to California and do so. Of course, I only laughed at it, but it is sad that it’s probably going to happen to some degree. So if you can Vote without an ID, let’s drive our trucks into California and load up with solar stuff and bring it home. Well if they do ask, I’m sure the Internet will print me something official looking from another state or another country. I’m not suggesting we should do that because frankly, I’m old and I know better. Oh, and I don’t have pink or purple hair so I’m not that kind of old!

Gary Edwards's avatar

The idea that we should all vote in CA is something to ponder. Requesting a ballot to an out of state address should be common.

When will the actual taxpayer receive some benefit for their overtaxation? 🥺

Ben F.'s avatar

Half the state has Stockholm Syndrome with the Democrat Party there. They can’t accept the ugly truth, and the current leadership has a hook in their mouth.. they’d lead them into a ditch and the voters would still be saying “Anything but a Republican!! Not that!! “

Once again. We need more SUNLIGHT.

Ha ha I saw what you did there. ☀️

Fraud for illegal buybacks for votes…..

One has to be a bit off to stay in California, no matter how beautiful it is.

Gavin Newson has discovered the key to keeping in office. Give away as much as you can to as many as you can. The bridge to nowhere that cost billions of dollars makes a lot people rich with the tax papers money. The more disgruntled people that leave the state (people that are not on the payroll but pay taxes) leave those on the payroll to vote. This includes illegals which is why he wants them. Hopefully California will run out of taxpayers to support those in power.

This is the "Curley effect", named after prior Boston mayor James Curley. Quoting: "The Curley Effect is a political strategy where leaders use inefficient, wealth-reducing, or divisive policies to encourage the emigration of political opponents and attract supporters, thereby securing their own reelection. Named after Boston Mayor James Michael Curley, it explains how politicians can win repeatedly while causing long-term economic decline, as highlighted in studies by Edward L. Glaeser and Andrei Shleifer."

So Gavin is following an old playbook. Nothing new.

Want more of something? Subsidize it. How long before Mexicans get to vote in California?

Edit: Apparently Oakland and San Francisco already do under certain limited circumstances. Thin edge of the wedge.

Great find and article! I don't have a problem with CA spending their own money this way. I do have a big problem them spending my money this way. I'm trying to find out how much money the Federal government is still sending California.
