Is it helpful to have the written transcript of the video in the post? I want to make my Substack as useful as possible for you, so let me know how to improve it—suggestions are always welcome.

yes it is helpful, keep doing it. I like to print out essays and hold on to them.

Yes, very helpful!! I am able to read it faster than the time it takes to play it in real time. It's just a nice option to have when I am on the go or when I sit down to read anything.. I always prefer to watch the video, but this addition is definitely a plus for the above reasons.

As you heard me suggest in the very beginning, many of us will never watch the video/read the podcast. But read the transcript end-to-end and found it excellent. So yes, by all means keep it up! And thanks.

Thank you, as always, Christopher, for helping arm me and others to fight THIS FIGHT. I much prefer the transcript to the video itself, though it is clear my son’s twenty-something generation would much prefer the video.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll keep publishing both, in order to serve both audiovisual and textual learners.

Yes, very helpful. 1, many of us in the older generation strongly prefer to read articles, and not listen to them. 2, I have a hearing disability, so listening to content is less preferable than reading it. TY for providing this helpful enhancement.

Yes! Thank you! I'd rather scan text than listen to a video, usually. This makes it more accessible and shareable--easier to grab quotes, too.

Yes. Written transcript is.m very helpful

Yes! There's lots of information to sift through online and some can read much faster than it would take to listen to the video.

Yes, very helpful. I personally prefer to read, then reread. The information that you break down is complex due to the use of propaganda and manipulation by those who are forcing their ideologies on a gullible society.

Yes, very useful. Video takes a LOT of "bandwidth." Text takes very little.

I would not have bothered watching the video. Because you had a transcript, I was able to see what you are saying.

Can you just delete it?? It’s really crappy.

This executive order violates the equal protection clause and should be defunded by theHouse and challenged in court immediately

Expand full comment

Has DEI or specifically equity been challenged in the courts anywhere? Seems to me that they should be challenged in every company, college or institution based on the equal protection clause.

We're working on it, lawsuit by lawsuit, but we'll need more aggressive attorneys general action and more explicit legislation.

Believe it or not I recall years back here in commifornia that we voters actually passed a bill eliminating affirmative action in the UC system (demoncrats did not think it would win and so did not harvest enough ballots to defeat it). However, I do not think it has been implemented and could have even been overturned by our destructive legislature. (There are so many bad bills to fight here it is hard to keep up) Either way it was clear that even here, people when made aware of the absurdity of “equity” absolutely do not support it so I would hope there would be a continuous stream of lawsuits once the public is informed.

It was passed and it was enacted. Just read in Sowell’s Intellectuals and Race last night that students of color were admitted to schools that better matched their education potential- so while admissions to UCLA and Berkeley went down, overall, statewide, DEGREES went up considerably.

Thank you so much!! I remembered many were very angry about the outcome of the election, but at the time the UC Chancellor, whose idea the proposition was, was black, so they could not cry racism (even a decade ago it would have appeared crazy to call a black man a white supremacist - oh how low we have descended). I also only remembered Asian admissions going up and the usual woke folk shouting about how affirmative action had to return to make it more "fair" with threats of lawsuits - delighted to know they failed at least this once in their efforts to undermine the true will of the people.

As any honest person will admit, admittance (or anything really, except maybe medical research??) based on race helps no one and hurts many. E pluribus unum, we need find what unites us, not what separates us.

Chris, excellent article! Parents’ Rights In Education, my org has identified this issue in K-12 public schools. The Transgender Expansive policies are an outgrowth of DEI. State Ed departments are identifying “equitable education opportunities” and a “school experience that is validating, empowering, and just, for every student.” The term “just” indicates these educrats see their mission is all about a political shift. They frequently include “Justice” along with Diversity Equity Inclusion” and apply restorative justice methodology to school discipline. Our schools now, are literally practicing white discrimination.

Once implemented, directives and requirements like this are practically impossible for a future administration to unwind. Further validating the strategy of drastic decentralization and federalism which is what the sentiment behind "national divorce" is seeking and not necessarily some blue/red carve up. A divorcing of states from the tyranny of the elder oligarchy of despots in DC.

Yes...... how do we go about unwinding this when we take back the white house?

I'm seeing similar echos and patterns in local government here in Florida. I've recently relocated to the city of Gainesville, Florida and I'm beginning to learn how the local government is organizing after the elections last fall. In the latest State of the City address by Mayor Harvey Ward below, he uses similar language that you are warning us about in the Biden executive order.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCNk6Q2GNcA

I'm not resigned yet to making speeches at monthly city council meetings, but the more I look under the rocks here in Gainesville I am learning this is among the most left leaning cities in what appears to be a red state.

Please continue to provide empirical evidence of how these programs have and will divert federal funds to those who aim to dismantle our society Chris Rufo. Thank you for your tireless efforts on this matter. Cheers

And then...there is this! https://www.parentsrightsined.org/uploads/1/1/8/8/118879585/youth-activist-toolkit_1.pdf The Comprehensive Sexuality Education operatives have co-opted sexuality topics with opportunities for activism, claiming students have "rights" to sexual pleasure. BTW: the term "rights" is frequently applied where none exist in the Constitution. Now, these kids are, as Chris so aptly described in a previous article about the "Child Soldiers of Portland," used by the left for demonstrations and other activist roles, recruiting students between ages 14-24.

Thanks Christopher for exposing this recent action. Please reach out to other public sources (Tucker, Hannity, Ingraham and others) to put the light of day on this illegal action.

The doofus has no idea what he signed...he just follows the instructions of the leftists who are truly running this administration behind the curtain of deceit and destruction. So typical of all leftist actions throughout all of history. At this point, this cancer is spreading rapidly throughout our country and this action only serves to put gasoline on the fire.

heres'a great essay written by Daniel Greenfield titled

"Equity is the New Communism- the left is using equity to seize control over every American institution" dated Jan 27, 2023

https://www.frontpagemag.com/equity-is-the-new-communism/#.Y_ePFdfVF0w.gmail

he states that this also applies to state and local gov'ts to submit to "equity plans" or lose federal funding.

Bidens executive order should be titled: Racism for All

I don't believe Joe is bright enough to think of all that, but history shows that he hung out with KKK members in years gone by, so no big change in his philosophy.

Guys, check this out. Every constitutional American needs to understand the real threat DEI is to our nation! We need to listen to, read, and review everything in this article. Chris, your transcript allows us to do that. Thank you.

Is it Biden's opinion the people he claims it will help are too incompetent and capable to take care of themselves?

Thank you for highlighting this incursion of weaponized federal powers.

An example of how much DEI has infiltrated almost every aspect of American life. I recently came from a medical conference where a lecturer encouraged medical providers to use “person” oriented language, such as, “people who use drugs” instead of “drug addicts.” The goal of this to be less judgmental. I don’t think this philosophy is very coherent and thus, untenable for a functional society. As if, changing the language around adverse behavior will improve peoples lives. That said, postmodernism has been extremely successful in its soft revolution of society. I do sense the tides turning to a degree, but it’s an uphill battle as many institutions have been captured.

It’s an uphill battle but I do see that tides are turning. We can see this with much of the awareness that people are beginning to have over the trans agenda.
