Thank you for following the money on this sensitive topic. DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas served on the board of HIAS, a clear conflict of interest. He is one of many commissars who are profiting off human trafficking. Global Refuge CEO Krish O'Mara is another example making $500,000+/year from government funded mass migration NGO work: https://yuribezmenov.substack.com/p/krish-omara-vignarajah-global-refuge-collin-gov

As you well know, in order to get to the root of almost any criminal matter, all that you have to do is follow the money.

I this case, the NGO's are making money, the job placement agencies are making money, and the owner of the factory is making money; all at the expense of the American taxpayer and to the benefit of the Democrat party.

How can we rid the land of this scourge imposed on us by those who have their authority by the consent of the governed?

Thank you for telling us about what is happening in Charleroi. It helps to explain what is going on Springfield Ohio, and probably, to some extent, a lot of other small town across the country. It’s important to understand the who and the why, and to some extent, the direct, local, financial motivations.

What is still puzzling to me is the meta-motivation, and who is leading / directing this non-transparent, stealthy, reconstruction of America’s battered heartland, with little consideration for those who live in these post-industrial pockets and have been left behind by global progress. I can’t imagine being an average person living in a small town, and having the town’s population get a rapid influx of very foreign people. It sounds like something someone like Soros would be involved in.

Soros is one of several leftist elitists who are leading it. For the big picture, I suggest reading "The Dying Citizen" by Victor Davis Hanson. I have reviewed one chapter from it at https://2026.substack.com/p/the-schism-of-globalism. For more on Soros, read https://2026.substack.com/p/who-is-george-soros-really

Thomas Sowell always liked to say that it's not "what is decided", but "who decides" that matters.

But you'll never convince the Left that any of this is a problem because they will continue to believe - per their "Diversity is our Strength" dogma - that they are doing these "dying" towns a favor.

It stands to reason that Mayokas, board member or chairman of HIAS, in Panama, is using his connections stateside to make connections with Jewish Agencies with migration operations. He has continued to visit HIAS in Panama, especially after it had a fire last year.

Deport all of them and prosecute Mayorkas for treason

The Worcester County (MA) courthouse inscription is "Obedience to law is liberty". That's when the system is working. Is it working now? Is obedience to law with regard to an untouchable criminal liberty, or justice? It is neither. Rigging the prosecution and the courts delays justice... no more... and it often raises the eventual price paid as well. I am hoping a return to inflicting public shame and humiliation on crooks like Mayorkas will suffice rather than waiting for them to be assassinated by their enemies or being deposed by people on their own side.

Obedience is NEVER liberty, no matter the supposed authority.

What's happening in Charleroi takes place in the western european countries as well. The mechanisms are the same, the asylum policies of the authorities, the NGO's and the local businesses exploiting cheap labour. It sounds exactly like a story from the industrial towns in northern England. And protests are deemed racisme. The course is set for catastrophy.

Well, they're not turning Haitians into Americans, they're turning America into Haiti, and any number of other failing nations that people flee from, and not to.

PS: it's little consolation, but the same is being done to the UK, where at least 1% of the current population is in the UK illegally, and now 15-20% are migrants who've arrived in the last few decades.

The same two-tier justice system applies to native Brits vs migrants, hence the nickname for our latest Prime Minister being 2-tier Kier...

Similar in Canada.

"Within hours of Canada receiving the first news of a terrorist massacre striking Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, almost all of its major cities witnessed impromptu public celebrations cheering the violence.

The one-year anniversary of the tragedy was not much different, although the size and brazenness of the celebrations this time was noticeably more extreme."

"The cheering crowds who thronged Canada's cities to celebrate Oct. 7

In Ottawa, police protection of an anti-Israel rally on Parliament Hill even went so far as to shield the gathering from counter-demonstrators "

These Pro-Hamas gatherings are yet another manifestation of what has been called "Mass Formations" or "Mass Psychoses". Minds have snapped. And this crowd has a designated scapegoat to attack just as the Mass Formation of COVID Mania had a designated scapegoat to attack.

The patterns are all so clear.

I think this is a very important point. It will not get far by posting it here, though I have been stating this over the past year about Pro-Hamas in many ways.

Americans are funding their own demise. The reward for paying taxes? Getting kicked out of your home? What happened to migrants arriving in America with just the clothes on their backs, working hard, opening small businesses, going to school, learning the language and building communities.

Being forced to fund. Most aren't parting with their money willingly. It's taken by the government under threat of force.

Thank you for explaining what we all know is true. The bottom line is if we can embrace our responsibility in this, it reminds us we still hold the power. Yes, we are coerced to comply, but there may come a time when good Americans simply say, “No more!” We literally are funding our own demise. Don’t like going down this path. Frankly, it’s not worth it. But these people are cowards. Their greedy construct for gaining power by toppling our Country would not be happening if they didn’t feel safe and protected. However, being terrified motivates them to do absolutely anything to maintain their power. This makes them very dangerous. Their rationalization? This is what the people want. They delude themselves and mask their evil intent. If they’re allowed to continue to succeed, they will become more powerful and dangerous. People are foolish when they lump together Trump and Harris as evil. This is complete ignorance and they do this at their peril.

Thanks for pointing out how the affected sensitivities of the Left are the perfect cloak for this sort of subterfuge. The quote from Thucydides is more than appropriate. As has been true from the dawn of time, might makes right. We were living under a nation of laws where the strong were sometimes restrained from trampling on the weak, so we had brief, exceptional periods of respite from the natural order of things. No longer, it seems.

Another issue I see hear is the numbers. You say the town had 4000 residents, then 2000 were brought in.

I will assume the frozen food company is the largest employer, employing 1000.

Employee ing 1000 out the 6000 could leave many unemployed. Then there housing.

I grew up in a small town of 8000. There weren’t enough jobs so we had to get them in neighboring towns. I would guess there was already unemployment issues before the Haitians came.

I can easily see the disaster that would arise if my 8000 people town went to 12000.

My hometown is now just over 17000 over the course of 30 years. It looks very different, streets, housing and number of businesses and retail. Squeeze that influx into three years and it would be traumatic and ugly.

The amount of money, energy, planning and implementation of this web of invasion had to have been in the works for many years. Add in the subterfuge to keep hidden from public conversation is mind boggling. We have really been sleeping. And obviously gave our government way too much trust.

I am married to the son of LEGAL immigrants, who came to America from Europe, after WWII. Yes, we have always been a nation of immigrants BUT what is happening now is NOT the same thing at all! My father-in-law had to come here first and get himself firmly established, with a steady job, and a sponsor before he could even begin the process to bring his wife and two young children over to join him. It took YEARS and he was financially responsible for every part of the process. Additionally, he and my mother-in-law had to sign documents that they would NEVER be eligible for any type of public assistance after they arrived. My MIL had to learn English in order to get her driver's license, which she needed so that she could get a job, where she worked hard, paid taxes, and was thankful to be able to do so!

Their two children were put into the local school system and immersed in English, which was the ONLY option available to them, so they learned it! They had two more children after arriving here, including my husband, and all four of them became hard working, law-abiding citizens, who in turn raised children who were also hard working, law abiding citizens, including a doctor and two English teachers with Master's Degrees! THAT is how our system used to work and it greatly enriched our country with a true diversity and a shared sense of destiny and pride!

It is absolutely not racist or hateful to demand that the current policies, which are destroying our social fabric and our national security, be completely overhauled! What is happening now is wrong, in every sense of the word and we need to be honest enough to have hard conversations about the whole situation! And, IMHO, the very first thing that needs to happen is the compete dismantling of the "Office of Faith Based Initiatives" and the ending of the entire spiderweb of NGOs, who are getting rich off of the backs of the taxpayers by facilitating the wholesale invasion of our country!

Having worked in nonprofits for a number of years, there would have to be a distinction made. Actually, we need laws re: funding for them. The age of mass migration is over. Importing millions of people illegally who will work for next to nothing just to be here destroys the wages of working class Americans and drives up housing costs when we can't house our own citizens. People cannot overpopulate their home country and just expect to move to greener pastures. There are no more green pastures. Instead of leaving, migrants must seek to voluntarily reduce their country's population to an environmentally sustainable level and stay there.

Expand full comment

These countries are perfectly capable of supporting their populations from an environmental perspective. The problem isn't Malthusian. It's crappy governance. It's poor property rights. It's areas WROL. If it was just an environmental problem that would be solvable; Norman Borlaug did it for India and Mexico. But governance problems are far less amenable to outside solutions (we tried to solve governance problems for 20 years in Iraq and Afghanistan and look how well that worked out.)
