also, à propos of nothing, I think President Trump should tap you as his Secretary of Education this time around.

I say Chris should be tapped by President Trump to dismantle the Department of Education!

Too soon. If education were handed completely back to the states right at this moment, just imagine the insane dystopia that would flourish in NY, Illinois, Washington state, California, Oregon (Portland at least), Hawaii, and other blue-state public school systems. There's definitely a place in society for a strong-handed, clear-eyed, compact, and focused Federal bureaucracy that will grab these rogue departments full of entryist activists by the collar and drag them kicking and screaming back into some semblance of normalcy.

I think Mr. Rufo is ideally positioned to spearhead that kind of initiative because he has a uniquely long view (he's seen, and published, the neo-Lysenkoist abuses currently being perpetrated from the K-3 grades in Portland schools all the way up to the university level), a clear sense of purpose, a proper sense of respect for both Christian tradition and secular classical liberalism, and hands-on experience shaping the recent transformation of New College of Florida. One of the very few people I'd trust to deploy at-scale Federal resources to the actual longer-term benefit of the U.S. and Americans as a whole.

This is a super-intelligent comment, and a strategy that should be extended to the entire mess that is our Federal Government. Try to bite off too much too quickly, and you are likely to choke. Small bites over time will get the tough steak consumed. Then we can move on to the more tasty meals....

(I must be hungry)

Agreed but you left out Massachusetts, hot bed of academic Marxism and CRT in K-12. Insane dystopia is right with school staff being encouraged to post "ally statements" in support of the supposedly persecuted LGBTQIA+ community. Normal people who speak up on behalf of normal beliefs about men in women's sports, like MA Rep Seth Moulton, are vilified. It will take concerted effort to return to any kind of normalcy. If anyone can do it, it's Chris Rufo, now with a precious baby daughter to defend against the madness. Congratulations to Chris & family!

You're right of course. And MA was the first place in the States to have a"youth gender clinic".

I daydream a lot about the new administration carrying out summary executions of all the pols, bureaucrats, butcher "doctors", and—especially—billionaire funders of this [bowel] "movement" of medical violence, totalitarian suppression of truth and free expression, and pedophilic child mutilation.

Just daydreams, but, still—this incoming Congress COULD have the votes to enact a federal ban with the death penalty.
