11. Are you familiar with what a struggle session is? Why did you force Uri Berliner to resign? https://yuribezmenov.substack.com/p/uri-berliner-npr-ceo-redguard-struggle-session

Ok Yuri, what gives? You’ve had time to read and comment on three different publications this morning, probably more, including this one, coffee and Covid, and El Gato, and yet you still have time to write and publish! You beat me to the punch each and every time. And you do so much more eloquently than I ever could. Bravo.

Well done Mr Rufo. Enough of NPR receiving my tax dollars. I've listened to privately funded talk radio for 35 years and thankful every day we have that available to us.

More than a few!

Maher is a typical femi-nazi who suffered a severe case of penis-envy until she realized her biological clock was about to run out. When she finally became aware she would need a man she got married and built a nest in a $2.7 million townhouse in NYC.

Why would we want to spend our tax dollars to pay anyone so repugnant?

She's filth along with Rachel Madcow who's also a wreck in her personal life so decided to take it out on the US population - and managed to make mega-millions lying and spewing hateful propaganda.

Glad to see someone else using the last name she deserves. When I visited Oxnard, California decades before COVID, my then-wife and I dined at "La Vaca Loca"... the Mad Cow. It was pretty good.

Forever… Talked (On Air) one time with Rush… He said I had “good instincts” (something along-those-lines… been years) and then he “El Rushbo” was off to the races with his keen analysis & commentary! No one (or two) will ever replace him! He may have single-handedly SAVED AM RADIO!!!

Maher is very disturbing. I listen to NPR, until I can’t stand it. It is not unbiased as they try to define themselves. Unfortunately, Mahers ideas are ideas that have been indoctrinated into students for 2 generations or more in US schools.

I once listened to NPR, and supported it financially. I had the cancelled checks to prove it.

Once, on a long road trip in the 1990's, I listened to three NPR stories back to back, each with a clearly left wing message. I always knew they had a bias, but that experience caused me to look at them in a fresh way. Afterwards, their reporting seemed so lame. And patterned- like the female with the chirpy voice talking about a topic with so little depth she had be be just out of college.

I wrote to NPR telling them, their stories were strongly biased, I objected, and if they continued, I'd have to discontinue my support.

Naturally they ignored me. Although I continued to listen to them for a time, my contributions ceased.

The last time I listened to them was at least 20 years ago. They burned their bridges with me. The fact that Republicans haven't lifted a finger to defund them is a bone in my throat.

The church I sang at in Palo Alto had prayers of petition that I nicknamed "the Gospel according to NPR". They were pretty closely aligned. I finally wised up when they had a raving lunatic come in... after the service, I told the pastor he had forgotten to supply the AK-47 his guest preacher would have used as an accessory. So many people didn't get the Vanessa Redgrave reference... too bad.

Collectivism is always an evil tyranny that claimed to be acting for the good of its victims. Central control always acts with insufficient knowledge and without a negative feedback mechanism for course corrections. The is why our Constitution has the Bill of Rights for individuals, to check the collective mind set of our self selected elites. “Live not by Lies”

Throw the bums out…! At the very least STOP Funding $ Our Own Demise. Thank You!

Speaking about "the collective mind set of our self selected elites", Thomas Sowell's book, "The Vision of the Anointed" has many examples of the "anointed" elites, of "self-congratulation as a basis for social policy", etc. At the same time Sowell describes how we, the "benighted", are treated: as ignorant, unenlightened, and to be disdained and silenced. Parents questioning sex education are denigrated and labeled "right-wing extremists".

Well this may be a spectacle. I wonder how she will behave. The easiest thing for her to do is to pose as a victim. She may retreat behind her gender and make it seem that her male inquisitors are bullies and misogynists. My guess is she will come in looking as feminine, womanly, and as pretty as possible, and then will play the victim, and answer for nothing. Alternatively, she could come out swinging and make this an ideological fight, but I tend to doubt it.

As for the Corporation of Public Broadcasting, it is well past time to cut the chord, and to end federal support for it. We also must end federal support for the local affiliates.

NPR has been pushing many unverifiable ideas such as humans are totally responsible for climate change, eco-friendly power generation (unreliable).

It has also attempted to alter the public’s perception of sex; arguing for the idea that gender at birth is not valid.

I have not supported them financially and would never let my grandchildren watch the altered reality they preach.

I am aware of the various forms of mass disinformation, including but not limited to ; radio, television, print and I’m sure a plethora of other modes.

I apologize for not clarifying that earlier.

In the end we, as concerned citizens, must remove the cornerstone of a federally funded leftist organization.

please be cognizant that NPR is radio. The CPB televised counter part needs a separate action for defunding.

Both NPR and PBS are funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Eliminating CPB would defund both of them. The only thing I would miss is Masterpiece Mystery. But oh well. I have Acorn and Britbox so defunding CPB would allow me to not pay for those programs twice.

Chris, I'm confused. Is Congress interviewing the "Race and Gender Studies" department at Northeastern University or the CEO of NPR?

Here are my questions for Katherine:

1) Once you've overthrown Capitalism for Marxism, where do you see yourself in the politboro?

2) As a critic of free speech, who do you plan to model speech after? China or Russia?

3) Once you've eliminated masculinity in our culture, how do you see a PINK ARMY standing up

to Russia, China, and North Korea?

4) Would you exempt everyone on Martha's Vineyard from private property restrictions?

5) Once you've forced "transgenderism" on the culture, is phedophila next?

Why would she want our military to stand up to enemies she approves of?

True. Then the next question becomes:

Once Russia, China, or North Korea have defeated America, how long before they

rape our women? and kill our men and children?

And as a follow-up question: “ will you personally be participating in these activities or just standing on the sidelines cheering and applauding?”.

El gato malo has a great article out today including a video of a young woman referring to a man talking about the commies and what they are doing in the US from 1943. It has not changed. And please tell us that you’ve put these excellent questions into the hands of someone on the committee who will ask them! Talk about something that needs to be “privatized” - maybe MSNBC will pick up NPR. They’re well suited.

Expand full comment

It doesn't need to be privatized. It needs to go away. If there were a demand for that kind of programming on that scale, the private sector would have mirrored it long ago, and in fact has picked up the truly entertaining content. People simply will not pay to be lectured to, lied to, and condescended to constantly.
